Firqat Alnoor (The Light / The Fire Orchestra) is an orchestra specializing in classical Arabic music, comprising Jewish and Arab musicians from across Israel’s social and geographical spectrum. As of today, the orchestra consists of approximately 25 instrumentalists and 10 choir members.

The orchestra aims to bring classical Arabic music to the forefront of Israeli culture as a legitimate and respected art form. It seeks to serve the hundreds of thousands of people rooted in the rich traditions of Eastern culture and creation, providing them with the opportunity to enjoy their beloved music on concert stages nationwide.
